I was using the guide thats provided on this forum. On setting up a css server on a windows machine.
The shortcut that I created was working fine. Until I updated to the most recent version of css. Now everytime I try to open the shortcut it pops up for a second and disappears or dosen't pop up at all.
Can anyone help me with this? It was working perfectly before until I had to update.
Setting up css server help.

Re: Setting up css server help.
Please change your shortcut to add this:
-condebug
Then, restart your server and look for a qconsole.log file in the "cstrike" folder, which may show you a useful error.
You could also go directly to disabling your plugins (temporarily), as they're a likely culprit and may need to be updated.

Re: Setting up css server help.
I'll give it a try.
I didn't even get as far as adding plugins yet lol
Wanted to get this sorted out first

You might also try re-running the hldsupdatetool.exe invocation with the "-verify_all" option at the end of the line. This will double-check that all of the base files are valid.
