Is it possible to get the wordpress autoinstaller updated? the latest wordpress is version 3.2.1 the autoinstaller still is on 3.1.1.

Yes, this is something that I will try to work on in the near future.

Wordpress is really good about updating it self. Once installed if you go to the admin panel a notification should appear telling you need to update. Click that and you can click auto update. It will install the new version for you in a matter of seconds.
Optionally you can also do it your self via FTP.
