Problems with l4d servers

hi all, i have a problema with my vds, i have one l4d server coop and i want create one more, a l4d server versus but i can't beacause when i try running both server, a have a error with vsteam. Help with that :(

That is an unnecessarily large screen shot ;). I recommend using alt-printscreen to capture just the single window next time.

What command line are you using? Are you running these two servers from different folders? Are you running without plugins?

Just curious as to why Steam is running on a VDS? Never seen that before, unless it's a listen type server. In the case, you need to change a few things :P

Good point; he should also try running it without the Steam client running. Sometimes the client and server Steam library versions don't play well together.

I know that if you don't set a +map in srcds shortcut when launching it actually causes it to fail to load properly and says "Steam not running, running in -insecure mode" - kind of a misleading error there :-/ this happens on orange box and later (that includes l4d) this may be why this guy had steam installed.

I think it was mostly because he had the Steam client running in this case. Known issue there :).
