Fakefull Connection Times

Post by RuThLeSs »

Anyone know how to make it so that on fakefull, the players dont show up at being online for like 23 hours?

Even when they disconnect and new fakes come on, or people fill the server to 20 and then it gets to be 4 am with no one on, it continues the count. Not sure if there is a way to change this or not.. thanks

I have yet to find a way to adjust the amount of time and/or frags that each fake full client shows. The only advice I can offer is to try out fakefull pro and try only using 10 fake clients all the time. That way it doesnt seem like your server is totally full. I think I only use like 8 fake clients on mine and it works well regardless of the time problem.

yeah I use 6 on fakefull pro... so thats not a problem really. Just annoying and very easy to see that they are fake when they have been on for 34 hours... I know you can just reset the server and it resets them.. but is there another way? I remember there are some commands you can use in the console, but I dont know if that will reset the times...

Hmm, I never really paid attention to it because it usually does its job regardless. Im sure there is a way to tweak it somehow. However, your fake clients will still all have the same connection time, it just wouldnt say 34 hours. Thats due to the fact that they all connect at one time. I guess I could try to look into tweaking it but I cant guarantee anything. Although, acura might be able to do something for you. He's a pretty leet coder.

I can't find the source anywhere, I have given up looking.

If anyone can get me the source, I probably can do something about this. I hate it myself, if people use HLSW, they wont join because they know. However theres the others that still use the quick connect and such, and they cant see it :)

You probably already knew this, but you can find the old source here, on olo's page.

The easiest way is to get some dedicated admins, or regulars to play on your server
