I realize that NFO may not have tested BF3 at all but if NFO has, would the Two Core VDS run one or two BF3 servers? What about a 1 core?
If BF3 performance is unknown, what about BFBC2? Also, will there be a method for me to order a BF3 server in preparation for launch day?
Lastly, with a managed VDS, are mod installation and configuration included or is that just handled via the control panel (after download of the files)?

Re: VDS + BF3
BF3 performance isn't available yet, but as with any server type, the number of connected players is more important than how many servers are running. Our VDS servers can usually run a typical 32 slot server per core, but that can vary with the server configuration.
Managed VDS servers have game servers added to them with the same control panel our normal server rentals include, along with the same level of access (such as FTP).

BF3 is still an unknown in many ways. It should be supported on managed VDSes and dedicated servers, but we're not exactly sure how it will perform yet in terms of CPU usage (bandwidth and memory usage look to be comparable to other games). We'll also have to have a slightly different pricing model for BF3 on VDSes and dedicated machines, for a separate reason.
BC2 servers run well on VDSes and you should be able to run about a 32-slot BC2 per CPU core.
Preordered BF3 servers will be created on launch day, and VDS and dedicated customers should be able to create them on that day, as well. As it currently stands, nobody will be allowed to put up customer servers before the day of launch.
