This isn't a concern with NFO, but moreso my previous GSP. The "big one". We all know who..
I have a red orchestra 2 server with them...44 slots...and it lags like crazy with anything over 40 slots used. Teleporting, high pings etc. When I say high pings, I mean me, who usually pings around 40-50 pinging at around 160-200. That's NUTS!
So, I've given thought to switching...cause at this rate, Gameservers won't be able to handle 64 slots on BF3. The only reason I was with gameservers is because of certain games that were gameservers specific..well ONE certain game anyway.
My questions for you are as follows:
1. What kind of issues have you been having with RO2 servers w/high slotcounts?
2. What precautions are you taking to make sure your high slotcount BF3 preorders work out as planned?
Thanks

Re: Concerns
Hi,
As for BF3 we are taking the same precautions. We are buying new machines constantly and upgrading hardware. If I am correct our newest and fastest machines will be dedicated BF3 server machines.
For general performance we stick to strict resource limits on our machines, we do not allow CPU/ram usage to jump to high and allow plenty of room for spikes. Every morning we have an automatic load balancing script that runs and will moves servers to different machines at there location for better performance.
Not many if any companies can match the level of performance we provide. We try our very best to provide the absolute best performance and support. If you are still a little unsure we offer a free two day trial to new customers, go ahead and order a server and see for yourself
If you have any other questions please let us know or open a support request.
We are not seeing hardware related issues for RO2, however we run the highest quality machines that are more then capable of maxing out RO2 slot count without any issues. Tripwire has recommended us as a provider and did some initial testing with their game on our servers.1. What kind of issues have you been having with RO2 servers w/high slotcounts?

@Kraze^NFo> Juski has a very valid point
@Juski> Got my new signature, thanks!
@Kraze^NFo> Out of context!
@Juski> Doesn't matter!
@Juski> You said I had a valid point! You can't take it back now! It's out there!

Re: Concerns
TWI uses us for its own RO2 servers here, and we haven't seen any performance problems with our 64-slot servers (or anything less!). We put RO2 exclusively on our fastest group of machines and very carefully monitor their resource usage to ensure this. We will be doing the same thing with BF3.
We stand behind our performance guarantee. Nobody else has one, for good reason
