I'm still working on it, CrazyCro. I can't test right now because the beta is over. DICE is also still fleshing out the protocol and fixing up bugs.

Just tried the commands a few times in bf3. Crashed our server (adept resistance).

Console commands seem to work fine from the website.
It is just the in-game daemon stuff.

If it shows that it was disconnected from the server, that means the server crashed. If admin.listPlayers all (which is a built-in command) triggered it, I'd recommend staying away from that for now.

I've investigated and confirmed that the admin.kickPlayer function in BF3 causes the server to crash right now. We'll have to wait on a fix from DICE. In the meantime, I recommend not allowing admins to use the "!kick" command.

what about the ingame chat portion of the admin daemon. So far it's not working for us. Did we do something wrong or is this another instance where dice needs to fix a few things before you are able to get this to work ?

The game doesn't support sending messages to players right now, if that's what you're thinking of. So you won't get personal responses to commands there (such as who was kicked/banned). If you use the commands through the "Server control" page, you'll see responses there, though.

This also means that on-join messages to players won't work. You'll have to go with regular timed ones for now.

Yell doesn't work in BF3, no. That's why it's disabled on the easy setup page :)

I am wondering if any of you guys know how I can increase the rush ticket count for my server? I see no option for it under the startup file or in the control panel.

It has a few bugs.
No plugins until the are alter to work with BF3.
Has basics for moving players in squads, kick, ban, etc.
'say' chat works.

With layer are the most bugs.
reserve list is on hosted, but not appearing on local.
maplist can mysteriously disappear and need re-entry.

Working fine for the early stages, but for more tools to become active,
it requires BF3 updates to enable some of the features and commands.
