And its not actually 1.6 that is releasing tomorrow. Its just steam. 1.6 has still yet to be release as far as I know. I also think that with the release of 1.6 is the release of the final of the new HLDS.

Umm, maybe you guys should take a look at that link I posted. According to Valve, 1.6 releases today with HLDS and Steam is part of the 1.6 .exe

ya but the CS 1.6 cannot be out, because its not ready.

if 1.6 isn't coming out, then what is this speculation about valve slowly doing away with the won system and deleting the master won/server lists? and if you check cal, this is the last week that 1.5 will be used for matches.

Steam has been delayed until tomorrow.

server files will be released later today.

as for CS 1.6, see it in about 2-3 weeks.

it has bugs and needs to be fixed still before its release.

Valve also says that they want steam out first, so theres the bandwidth for that. then there can be the bandwidth for cs 1.6

look for it in the future, not now.

People have a few misconceptions about all this..first is; just because STEAM will do away with the WONID system DOES NOT MAKE 1.5 unplayable. It simply replaces the old WONID's with the new STEAMID's. What this means for the average joe is at some point in the next few weeks his/her CS 1.5 will stop working outside of STEAM as it won't be able to authenticate. If he runs CS 1.5 from inside STEAM he/she will be fine.

CAL also did not state that this would definitely be the last week for using 1.5. They said this would be the last week if 1.6 happens to come out.

for sure 1.5 will be played, but 1.6 is not coming out this week.

for winter cpl, 1.6 will be definately played.

1.6 is due to come out in 2 weeks, as usual, prob valve will delay that too.
