I'm getting this constantly when attempting to install modules:
Error message
Warning: mkdir(): Permission denied in DrupalLocalStreamWrapper->mkdir() (line 628 of /usr/www/dfa/public/drupal/includes/stream_wrappers.inc).
views-7.x-3.0-rc1.zip does not contain any .info files.
also, can't recall where I saw it, but that there was a notice that drupal is down for maintenance?

You are not placing them in the correct folder...
