I bought a domain and I changed the nameservers under the DNS manger on the domain site. I entered it under the control panel and it appears to have gone through, now do I remove the provided sub-domain from nfo in order to have my domain work? My domain is surfpioneers.com but it goes to godaddy's page and not my forum. Help please!

You won't have to remove your provided subdomain, no. It sounds like your ISP has outdated information and you should personally see the change within 24-48 hours, generally, depending on how Godaddy was managing your domain previously.
