Setting players to start server [BF3]

Setting the number of players to start the server and pre round to 2 does not matter?

I save then restart the server and I still need 7 more players to start the server.

Is this going to be fixed anytime?

Check your control panel and se it the startup.txt has this line:

vars.roundStartPlayerCount 1

If it's not one, or missing, add the line and save the file.
Might have to restart the server to enable it, not sure.

It was there but I edited and stopped the server anyways.

Restarted and testing now....

keep in mind, changing this value at all from stock, will disqualify your server from quickmatch traffick

Also, the preround start number must be lower than the round start number.
