AMX admin accesses with 1.6

how do i need to set up the admins on amx with the new steam ids? I just changed the wonid with a steam id and reset the server and it didnt work anyone know?

One quirk that you should note is that SteamID-based reserve slots will not work properly because SteamIDs have a "pending" state while the person connects to the server -- AMX and admin mod can't verify the person's identity while that person connects.

Hey I have a server with amx v0.9.3 and I can't get what you said to do to work for me.

would I type in the users.ini something like this.

//Name
amx_admin "steam...." "*" "abcde......" "ce"

or this

//Name
"steam..." "*" "abcde......" "ce"

or am I way off.

Sorry, but to get the steamid what do you type.

Because I typed status in console and got

steam_0:0:147550

and amx_who and got

steam_0:0:14755


So I don't know whether or not to add the 0 on the end, or what.

Yes, there is a problem with steam id's at the moment. They wont work with AMX. Or at least I have yet to come up with a configuration that will work. Please configure your amx admin with your ip address.
