Is there a location...

... where server owners can go to get real information in regards to the server administration and matching? Lots of what I'm seeing here is speculation.

I'm getting frustrated, as some of the other posters here, trying to understand how things work in regards to BattleLog and it's matching system.

Specifically, why would we pay for a 64 slot server if it will never reach population limits? Doesn't make sense. After the first week, the decision makers in my community are having a hard time justifying staying with a 64 slot. When this first billing period expires we'll be going to a 32 slot.

Is there a site or forum where we can get real information directly from DICE/EA or are we stuck?

Well here is a good start, but if you are looking for a third party site that has no direct connection to us, the EA forums would be a great place to start. However I have no idea if you would get some help there or not.

http://forums.electronicarts.co.uk/battlefield-3-pc/ is a place that DICE employees do monitor to some degree. You won't receive anything more than speculation on how Battlelog and matchmaking work there, though, I'm afraid, as DICE has told us they are not releasing information on these through any channels. The RSP forum also won't get you anything special, as it looks like it's just RSPs hawking their services (and they don't have any more information than we do).
