New 1.6 MOTD

Post by Smoke »

Anyone know how we can get a custom html MOTD (Message of the day") for our servers. It looks kinda noobish when you have our MOTD as a 404 error? Will NFO let us create or edit our own motd thru our Control Panel and how we will be able to do it.

You should just be able to edit motd.txt, using the control panel or through FTP. You can use HTML code in there if you'd like, also.

You can also link jpegs and stuff. Or at least the servers I played on during beta did. Its actually really cool. And when you click a link it doesnt crash. Or when you push the freakin windows key. Yeah Steam fixed a lot of bugs but they seemed to have created a few as well. All is good though. Steam will come through sometime.

I love the fact that you can use html in your MOTD, but what about statsme?

When you type /top15 there isn't any breaks. Is there a fix for statsme, or can you go into some cfg file in statsme to enter those breaks.
