Simply create some motd.html with the code to insert a picture in it, upload the file to the server, and upload the picture to some webhosting space and have the html file directed to that picture on the webhost

Come by #nfo-support, people like WonderBra and others have edited and made html motd's :)

He may have meant motd.txt. I'm not sure if motd.html works also, but motd.txt definitely does. The easiest way to edit it would be to use the control panel and open it for editing in the File Manager. You'll see there that it's just an HTML file, and is currently some example code -- change it to whatever you'd like.

learning HTML

Post by lt987456 »

as far as learning html go to this site http://www.w3schools.com/html/default.asp and they have a how too on html and sample codes. Also they have a html code tester what it does is in 1 frame it has the html code and in the frame next to it it has the out put of the html so you can see if it works or not. That way you can play with the code befor you load it on your server. As for the pic just load it throw ftp to the site space that NFO gives you when you rent a server. If you didn't request 1 when you rented your server email them @ rentals@nuclearfallout.net and ask for it.
