Server crash

Our server crashed about 10:48pm est.
Server was near full, and dropped everyone.

Looking at the logs, it shows everyone disconnected.

What I also observed is that our Procon was also disconnected for several seconds.
Not sure what causes the disconnect.

Also noticed that people were joining the server 3 secs after everyone was kicked, so it is quick.

What kind of server crashed?

If you had a managed game server crash, or an entire VDS crash, or a full machine crash, you should contact us through a support request, so that we can investigate it with you directly.

My BF3 is on a different server than Procon, so it would have been the BF3 server that was the cause.

Doubt much can be done to remedy it since it's a Dice/EA issue, but letting you know when and what I observed so that it may help in finding a fix.

This time it was a different type of somewhat crash.

We had 16 people in the server playing and at 23:03:56, it disconnected 13 people and left 3 people in still playing. If it matters, 2 from the US and 1 from Canada remained.

We had 9 clan members on at the time, all from the US, and they all got the same error.
Microsoft C++ Runtime Error.
This is a new error to us, and same error for everyone.

Killed the server completely a couple minutes after it happened.

Is this a Procon error and Procon crashed? If so, please contact the Procon team with the bug report, as we unfortunately can't do much to investigate that here.

Nothing to do with Procon. Procon ran fine through it all.

This error came when everyone was disconnected from the server.
The people disconnected each saw this message as their games closed.

Ah, I see.

That would not be on the server side at all, then, as a CTD represents a pure game client bug (the game should never do that, even if the server *does* have a problem).

If your concern was with a managed game server, this should probably be in the game server forum as a BF3 question. It confused me a bit that it was in the dedicated server forum, because I thought you were asking about something other than a game server we manage.

Well I am not sure if it's game related or server related or both.

Because 13 people at the same time pretty much had the same crash and error, I figure something in the game triggered by the server caused the crash.

Move this where ever you see fit.
