Re: Domain register
I also use GoDaddy for domains, but I use namecheap for my SSL certificates.

Re: Domain register
NEVER EVER GO WITH 1AND1. WORST HOST / COMPANY EVER. If you ONLY need a domain company, go with iwantmyname.com. Great service, simple, easily install 3rd party apps, and no spam shit like go daddy.

Re: Domain register
I use godaddy for all my domains, they have coupons available all the times.
Plus I like godaddy's domain tool where it lets you configure all kind of stuff.
The domain privacy through godaddy is cheap too, so people can't do "whois" my domain and get my personal info.
Honestly the internet needs to get rid of this tool.

Re: Domain register
I think having whois information available is a good thing but I think it should be handled differently. I also do not enjoy people being able to look up my private information. whois protection at my company is $10 a domain...
I own about 4 domains as of right now, So I just piggy back off my main domain. Name is the name of my other site and email..etc. Not sure how rule abiding that is..

@Juski> You said I had a valid point! You can't take it back now! It's out there!

Re: Domain register
I use namecheap.com
Re: Domain register
Anyone have any experience with domain.com? Hak5 is sponsored by them and I have been considering transferring my domains to them. A friend of mine recommended enom to me. I'm slowly moving away from 1and1.
Trying to find a good domain registrar is like trying to find a good mechanic. They are out there, but its a costly drawn out process to find them.

Re: Domain register
I actually transferred my domain to namecheap recently, they seem pretty good so far.
