Ubuntu VDS- Increase Resolution?
Simple as the title- How do you Increase the resolution on a VDS running Ubuntu? My current resolution is 800x600, trying to get it up to at least 1024x768 so that I can manage my windows a bit better. I have tried editing the xml file that stores the default resolution, but to no avail. Anyone have any thoughts?

It would be easiest to adjust it through the GUI: http://www.ubuntugeek.com/how-to-change ... buntu.html.
Make sure that you're using your own VNC server, and not the emergency VNC console that we provide, as described at http://www.nfoservers.com/forums/viewto ... =46&t=4846. This should offer you maximum options and performance.
Note that I do not recommend running a desktop on a Linux server because of the overhead it entails.
