Server concern
Have a question when ordering a game server it says it's windows 500fps and I had a dedicated server once before and and used fps_max and when I checked in rcon stats it showed fps was 66fps, what command are you using?

Re: Server concern
Are you referring to a Source/OB server? This no longer applies to those, as back in October, Valve changed the way fps functions, locking those servers to 66fps/tick
Re: Server concern
No, nfo has it selling for 500fps, how is that possible when you say it's reverted back to 66fps here, what's that new command.
Re: Server concern
We have not been offering 500 fps since the orangebox change, you can see what we currently offer on our order page.
<Spray> Please try locking your modem in a closet, or facing it towards the wall in the corner, so it knows its misbehaved
Re: Server concern
If you check the information on the order page for the accelerator options, you'll notice that it still mentioned 500 FPS and such, but only for HL1 based games, such as CS 1.6 and TFC.
High FPS is no longer possible on Source/OB based games, but it is also no longer needed due to the engine changes. This is talked about more here:

Re: Server concern
On the order page it says counter strike source, see it for all source games.
hyperaccelerator, implying 500fps "hyperaccelerator increases server side fps to 500"

Re: Server concern
The order page lists hyperacceleration for Source game types as:
"Hyperaccelerator [standard Windows setup]"
The help popup says:
Do you have further questions about Valve's restrictions?
"Hyperaccelerator [standard Windows setup]"
The help popup says:
This language appears to be clear. I do not see where it is implying in any way that a Source game would run at 500 FPS; in fact, it states says the opposite. For HL1 servers, the hyperaccelerator increases server-side FPS to around 500 (the default is ~65). Many players feel this results in smoother play and better registration, but it is also much harder on the server hardware.
Source and Orangebox games always run at a tickrate and FPS defined by Valve, generally 66 or 100. This is the standard acceleration level for these games.
