hey guys i need help setting up a bridge for wordpress and phpbb. I have tried using a plugin named wp-phbb bridge. But upon following the instructions and using this plugin i have unknowingly locked myself out of the wordpress dashboard.
If anybody can offer any support on how to use the plugin or another way to bridge them it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Chris

Re: WordPress and phpbb bridge help!
I am sorry to see a lack of responses here. I my self have no idea how this would work. So it may be something you want to ask on a phpbb help forum. I hate to turn away here. But with the lack of response over several days that could be the case.
Please keep us posted though if you find anything out. I would be happy to hear a successful out come with this situation.

If you have access to phpmyadmin you should be able to find the table for WP users and reset your user through phpmyadmin.

Re: WordPress and phpbb bridge help!
Thank you for those who posted.
It seems that Re-installing WordPress and phpbb manually instead of using Nfo's auto-install ( not saying its nfo's fault this doesn't work ) And installed the plugin and it worked.
I don't know why it wouldn't work with the auto-install.
But if anybody is having problem with the plugin ( WP-phpbb Bridge from eXtnd.it ) you have to wipe the database or databases and make sure you delete everything.
Download Wordpress From http://wordpress.org/download/ and follow the instructions on how to install here http://codex.wordpress.org/Installing_WordPress
Now that you have done that install that onto the database you want wordpress on.
Now create another database for phpbb
You can download phpbb here http://www.phpbb.com/downloads/ and you can learn how to install this manually here http://www.phpbb.com/support/documents. ... &version=3
Install this one on your second database.
Now you need to download the plugin. You can get it here http://www.e-xtnd.it/wp-phpbb-bridge/
The instructions on how to install it are also on there.
Basically you just need to install WP and phpbb manually and you should be all good.
Hope this cleared up some of the problems if anybody had any. If you have any more questions or if i didn't explain it clearly enough shoot me a PM or on skype. ( H_TOWN_KING ) I don't mind helping anyone that needs it.
