Hi,
I currently host my website on hostgator.com but I am thinking about switching it and adding it to my gameserver with the lite, or possibly standard plan...but I need some information and if you think the server could handle the site easy and fast.
Info:
www.teamvlr.com
Site uses Joomla (didn't see that listed on the webhosting page, would it still work?)
Average 300-500 hits per day. 10-12,000 per month.
Around 2gb per day bandwith or 40-60gb per month
8.5gb disk usage and growing
70,000 inodes or files
Do you think my VDS could host the website or would I need to upgrade. I have the cheapest VDS plan out of Chicago and wonder if it can run the site efficiently? Also I'm not sure how to switch everything over to NFO if it did work. Thank you and hopefully it would work. If you need additional info let me know. I'm reading tutorials and it seems I can just export the database and import it to NFO and then all my files and folders and I should be ok. Let me know, thanks.

Re: Wanting to switch website to NFO...questions
A single-core VDS or lite webhosting plan can likely support a low-usage site such as this, yes.

Thank you I will go ahead and purchase the lite plan to try it out and hopefully I can get everything transferred over smoothly. You guys do allow Joomla websites, right?
Re: Wanting to switch website to NFO...questions
Ok I got it started and I added a database but where do I access phpMyAdmin to import my database from my old site?
Re: Wanting to switch website to NFO...questions
Our web hosting doesn't come with phpmyadmin installed by default, but the "Autoinstallers" page has a tool for installing it for you. You can then access it to import your databases.
