HLSW Timeouts?

Post by LucasG »

I'm currently running a small VDS with two CSGO servers. Everything seems to be running fine, it's playable, performance seems great and everything, but when monitoring through HLSW I get constant timeouts. Basically the server shows up, timeouts for a few seconds, up again, and continues that trend. Any ideas why this could be happening?

From what oi know of HLSW this is a preety common event for most games. It could also be the fragile state of CS:GO.

@Juski> You said I had a valid point! You can't take it back now! It's out there!

It's quite likely that Valve has rate-limiting built in that is causing problems for HLSW. If the game plays fine, you should be A-OK.

Gameplay is smooth, even tried upping FPS and seems to perform great. I was only trying to see if this could have simply been a small config that someone is already aware so that it doesn't timeout that often. But it's still usable!
