Changing website domain thing (2 questions)
How do you change example.com/wordpress to example.com?
I would love to change http://cheesium.site.nfoservers.com/wordpress/ to http://cheesium.site.nfoservers.com/
How wold you do it?
Also, how can you add http://www.cheesium.site.nfoservers.com/ because www.cheesium.site.nfoservers.com/ doesn't work.

Re: Changing website domain thing (2 questions)
Both of these can be handled on the "Domains" page in the control panel.
Your first question just involves pointing the entries to the wordpress folder instead of the folder above it.
Your second question just means adding another subdomain entry. You should see an @ entry already, maybe others. You just need to add a www entry with the same settings as the @ entry.

Change the installation directly into public_html or in this case for NFo into the "public" folder.

So for making the website go to wordpress after typing cheesium.site.nfoservers.com the settings look like this:TimeX wrote:Both of these can be handled on the "Domains" page in the control panel.

Also, I don't understand what you mean by adding the www thing.

Re: Changing website domain thing (2 questions)
cheesium.com isn't pointing to http://cheesium.site.nfoservers.com/
and http://cheesium.site.nfoservers.com/ isnt pointing to http://cheesium.site.nfoservers.com/wordpress/
and http://cheesium.site.nfoservers.com/ isnt pointing to http://cheesium.site.nfoservers.com/wordpress/
Re: Changing website domain thing (2 questions)
Changes on that domain page take a little while to fully take affect. I would give it a good 5-10 minutes.
As for your domain name not re-directing to here, it does not seem like you have it added in your control panel. So it is not something we can control.

@Juski> Doesn't matter!
@Juski> You said I had a valid point! You can't take it back now! It's out there!

Re: Changing website domain thing (2 questions)
Based on image http://i.snag.gy/068z6.jpg
would
cheesium.site.nfoservers.com
go to
cheesium.site.nfoservers.com/wordpress
would
cheesium.site.nfoservers.com
go to
cheesium.site.nfoservers.com/wordpress
Re: Changing website domain thing (2 questions)
Yes, that is correct.

Re: Changing website domain thing (2 questions)

http://cheesium.site.nfoservers.com/forums
to http://cheesium.site.nfoservers.com/wordpress/forums?
do I just put the forums folder in the wordpress folder? Or what?

Re: Changing website domain thing (2 questions)
Are you wanting to redirect your entire domain to the forums folder?
It sounds like you are just trying to create a link from within our Wordpress site linking to your forums?

Re: Changing website domain thing (2 questions)
No, I want the forums page to be at http://cheesium.site.nfoservers.com/forums
BUT
since the site is directed to http://cheesium.site.nfoservers.com/wordpress
then
the forums page doesnt work
(it would direct to http://cheesium.site.nfoservers.com/wordpress/forums)
(which doesnt exist ^)

Re: Changing website domain thing (2 questions)
Can someone please help?
This is really annoying and the person on the IRC told me to reply to my thread..
no one is replying!!!
AND
Your added domain does not specify one or more NFOSERVERS.COM domain servers. Please use your registrar to update your nameservers to NS1.NFOSERVERS.COM and NS2.NFOSERVERS.COM, and try again. (If you already made the change, you may have to wait for your registrar to internally update.)
AND I DID ADD THE NAMESERVERS. I HAD PICTURES AND NO ONE EVEN LOOKED.
WHAT THE FART!!!!!!!!!!!
its been like 5 hours and nothing happened
AND I can't even make cheesium.site.nfoservers.com be the wordpress folder. I dont wanna forward it because then the forums will be messed up and the rest of the pages will be messed up.
I tried putting the wordpress contents in the public folder but the website looked all weird. Its not working... How do I make wordpress be the public folder (not making cheesium.site.nfoservers.com forward to cheesium.site.nfoservers.com/wordpress)
