So I got a VDS from NFO to try and host a dedi for this game based from the ARMA 2 OA engine. I installed all my files direct from the BI store to the machine.
When I add the -server command line like devs say works ( for now ) the whole machine locks up and hard reboots.
If I use this same method on my personal PC it works like a charm. I'm just curious as to what I might be doing wrong here, if I am missing something. Anyone who has experience with this sort of problem or ARMA 2 servers in general could you please lend a hand.

When it locks up, do you see a blue screen through the VNC console?
What size of VDS do you have? If you have a single-core, you may be running out of RAM, as this game tends to use quite a bit.
