wp and phpbb3 login integration

I use phpbb3 and wordpress for my minecraft server's website and I was wondering how you could link them so the logins are the same for each. I use a support ticket system on wp and a few other things and I would like to make it so people don't have to register on both, just one. I tried using a plugin for wp a few weeks ago when I was with a different host and I failed miserably and they had no idea how to help. If someone could at least point me in the right direction that'd be greatly appreciated.

I know theres integration mods out there, and theres apparently this too: http://bbpress.org/

I'll give it another go with integration mods. I really like phpbb3 over bbpress so I'm going to stick with that.
