Error: Texture File? Setting up CS:S server..

So i was following the CS:S server setup for my Unmanaged VPS here --> http://www.nfoservers.com/forums/viewto ... =67&t=4107

I am connected to my VDS through Remote Desktop Connection.. i did steps 1 through 6, but then on step 7. Where im supposed to open up both shortcuts at the same time, i get an error.

When i try to open both a bog pops up and it says..

"Dedicated Server Error"
"Error: texture file 'vgui/hud/800corner1' does not exist or invalid
"Error: texture file 'vgui/hud/800corner2' does not exist or invalid
"Error: texture file 'vgui/hud/800corner3' does not exist or invalid
"Error: texture file 'vgui/hud/800corner4' does not exist or invalid

What do i need to do to fix this?

You could try running a game update with -verify_all to see if it fixes this by replacing that file. Or, you could change the shortcut to have "-console" at the end, which will start you up without the GUI.

Im sorry, what do you mean -verify_all.?
Where do i add this command to?

Okay so i tried the -console. And it worked this time. But now it wont start up the server.. this is what i get in the console/CMD..

Initializing Stema Libraries for secure internet server
Failed to load Steam Service
ServiceStart: failed to start
ServiceStart: failed to start
Unable to alod Steam Support libray
This server will operate in LAN mode only.

This the last line says 13:32:09: World triggered "Round_Start"

But the server wont start up? It isnt responding in my Steam server list.

I believe i did. I took the IP that is shows in my control panel. Do i need to add the port after it? Like :27015?

and yes the IP was pingable.

Ive got the server up and running now and working. And those vgui/hud errors are gone when i use the console in command line for the CMD shortcut. But can you explain how i can fix that? I want to use the panel or whatever.

I recommend following the instructions at the bottom of our CS:S setup guide to update the server. That will likely replace the missing files.
