Warsow 0.7 Beta 2

I don't know how well you follow releases of the small games you support, but warsow 0.7 beta has been released and the final build is due soon. I don't think warsow has any major dependencies that would need to be updated, the update should just be extract - overwrite - update configs. But this is a good chance to test the servers before 0.7 goes live. I was going to test it, but since I have a game server, I ran into permission problems overwriting the binary.

One last note, even though I wanted to test 0.7 with this server, I know that for a few months after 0.7's release I will prefer to keep 0.6 with racesow mod running. So it would be nice to have the option of keeping 0.6 or updating.

And thanks again for everything, my servers have been running smoothly and wonderfully since their setup.

I appreciate the feedback.

When it has come to Warsow, every new version so far has required a complete wipe and reinstall. I hope that they will follow the Q3/CoD* model of just adding a small amount of files this time (instead of replacing them), because that might allow us to run different versions for different customers. Otherwise, we may have to upgrade all customers to the new version at once.

I'm sorry to say, but this release is no different. Besides engine changes, all maps have been touched up, textures redone and other small things that effectively mean every pk3 has probably been changed along with the binaries.
