Max player slots on unmanaged VDS

Hello everyone,

I run an unmanaged VDS and was wondering what the max player slots were?

I'm trying to run a ROTU zombie CoD4 mod and it requires bots in it. I plan to run 35 bots and would like to have 15 public slots.

I've made the proper changes in the command line as well as config, but it seems to be limited to 32 which is no bueno for this mod.

Currently, I am only running a 20 public player slot stock cod4 which doesn't go over 10 players at any given time since it's so new.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If you set "+set ui_maxclients 64 +set sv_maxclients 64" on your command line and do not override it elsewhere (such as in a server.cfg), then your CoD4 instance should allow 64 players.

that worked like a charm. I had the 2nd part "+set ui_maxclients" missing.
