Psychostats Customization

Post by avitardotnet »

Hi,

I have a very successful community going thanks to the guys at NFO providing the best game server hosting I have ever used! I am too the point where we want to move the community from great to awesome, and therefore are looking to customize our stat's.

I Googled and read everything I could find on Psychostats customization; specifically around themes, custom events, awards, and bonuses. Unfortunately it feels like documentation on this product is practically non-existent since the original author quit the project and shut down the dedicated site. I tried to reverse engineer how it works but still can't seem to get everything to work: http://fnggaming.stats-ps3.nfoservers.com/

I used time machine and other tricks to try to get a grasp on how this is done but still feel stuck and would appreciate any insight people have or documentation on this topic for Psychostats.

From what I can tell, you need to create events, which are used for bonuses and awards?

I am not quite sure how to set the points gained from awards & custom awards, how to display custom awards earned by the player in the player specific page, and how to create bonuses / awards for the top player damage, k:d and other weapons in the mod.

Thanks for any guidance in advance.

If I did these sorts of things myself, it was unfortunately too long ago for me to remember =\. I would have to run through the PS3 code to try to gather what needs to be done here.

It's sad that the PS3 site was taken offline. PS3 was a quality product, and its forums were a good resource for this sort of question.
