Possible to reset server automatically?

I am new to being a server admin, we are running a private DayZ server and I wanted to know if it is possible to setup automatic restarts?

Also, when I restart the game, should I be restarting my VDS as well? or just relaunching the server software?

They have daily restarts for managed games in the admin panel, but I would think you would need to install a control panel of your own and set it up.

You might be better off using the dayz scheduler and set it up to restart the gameserver.
You can set it up to restart as many times as you want. I tried with our Lingor server, but didn't have much luck. I use a control panel that restarts once a day. I would prefer twice a day, but until I can figure out the scheduler, not gonna happen.
