Please help with creating a system Data Source Name

I need help......I'm installing phpBB and it says to create a DSN (Data Source Name) and I'm also supposed to create this DSN and point it to the location of my ms_access_primer.mdb. I have all the files uploaded to the server but just need to complete this task. Can you help?

It's localhost, and you'll need to use the MySQL database option. It should not require a file such as that.

put localhost or local host (with or without spaces)

I've made a mistake when installing phpBB and i need to just dumb my database.....How do i do that or do I have you guys do it for me??

That's slightly complicated. It might be easier for you to just reinstall and use a different prefix (instead of phpbb_).

lol ya its hard first time.. go into #NFO-support and talk to veritas/wonderbra or acura or 2bit

phpBB is an absolute dream compared to ikonboard

. All it involves is uploading the source directory and setting some file permissions as they describe in their install guide, then running their install script and entering the database information. It sounds like you're mostly there.
