Domain Help please

Post by Bubba »

Okie Dokie,

I have read the listed instructions here and there and can't seem to get this figured out.
Here is what I am trying to do, but don't know IF it can be done here.
With YOUR web hosting package I am currently at soc.site.xxxxxxxxx.com
What I want to do is have MY registered domain of SpecialOpsChicago.com direct people to the current forums set up in YOUR hosting server.
Is this possible?
If so, can I get better instructs than what I am reading in the knowledge base?

My domain is PARKED at GoDaddy.
Of course useing their nameservers.

Thanks,
Bubba.

I am not familiar with how GoDaddy has there systems set up but you should be able to forward that domain to any address you want. Login to your GoDaddy control panel and look for a forward or redirect option, then enter the link to your current forums.

Wow.
And all this time I was looking under the NFO control panel for an answer.
Thanks for the fast reply.
Got it just like you said and how I want it.

Really is sweet to work with a provider of services who responds to your needs.

Thanks,
Bubba

I actually might of misread you original post. Are you actually wanting to add the domain to your webhosting here at NFO? Either way it doesn't really matter but it may be easier to have it all managed in one place.
