SOURCE DEDICATED SERVER, Half-Life 2: Deathmatch - HITREG is

Post by p3dsman »

Thanks to everyone here I have been able to get the server running amazing, with very little choke and no loss. I am running into one last problem that I am hoping to resolve....hitreg. A lot of players say that their bullets etc do not register where they shoot a lot of the time. Everything does tend to feel like that for me as well sometimes.

Here is my rate settings, anything else I should add or tweak?

fps_max 0

net_splitpacket_maxrate 100000
net_queued_packet_thread 1

sv_stats 0
sv_region 0

sv_parallel_packentities 0
sv_parallel_sendsnapshot 0

sv_max_queries_sec 3

sv_minrate 100000
sv_maxrate 0
sv_minupdaterate 34
sv_maxupdaterate 67
sv_mincmdrate 34
sv_maxcmdrate 67
sv_client_cmdrate_difference 33
sv_client_min_interp_ratio 1
sv_client_max_interp_ratio 2
sv_client_predict 1

sv_timeout 120

tv_enable 0

Thanks in advance!!

Are any of the players complaining of issues seeing any high ping, choke or loss at the time? Overall the rates you have seem to be pretty good and should work well for everyone.
@Kraze^NFo> Juski has a very valid point
@Juski> Got my new signature, thanks!
@Kraze^NFo> Out of context!
@Juski> Doesn't matter!
@Juski> You said I had a valid point! You can't take it back now! It's out there!
