Unfortunately in Valve pushing Steam Community they actually utilized "Steam ID" as the nomenclature for the name you set your Steam URL to, and for years before Steam Community the plugin development Community was callined the Unique ID assigned to each steam user a "Steam ID", so when Valve refers to Steam ID, they're talking about the URL based ID, when plugin developer refer to Steam ID, they refer to the unique ID which usually starts with STEAM_ (if you are in Left 4 Dead 1 or 2, and I think CS: GO this will be STEAM_1, in other Source Games it will be STEAM_0, that part is actually not as relevant as the parts after the first :, but you still need the whole thing in order to configure properly.)
