I had a server wipe done because the server refused to start, but now its running fine etc..
I did however noticed some folders were missing,so i created cooked pc and published folders in my FTP,I gather i have to drop the custom maps in there and add something to the maplist ini file?

Installing a custom map should be a matter of uploading it to the UTGame/CookedPC/Maps folder and then using the web admin system to add it to the cycle.

"CookedPC" already exists under the "UTGame" folder, so you should not need to create it anywhere.

If your server isn't starting, double-check that you have properly created a Gamespy account and have it loading with that account (as described in the creation email). I saw a customer the other day who neglected to do that, and I still think he hasn't; only one server can be run under each account, so he will step on others' toes if they try to also use the default.

When i first rented the server,i had a utgame folder and all other folders were present,no mods or maps, cmd line was left untouched, server refused to start, after i got a server wiped, server worked fine and still does.

But the only thing that was missing was the utgame folder and cookedpc folders etc,its why i created it instead.

Anyhow,do i enter my gamespy id in the server control panel?

The server would have been running before being handed off to you (the email does not go out otherwise), but not having a valid Gamespy ID entered will make it stop working as soon as another server is created in our system.

You can change the ID by following the directions given in the email and then modifying the information on through the "Server control" page.

That would be the email that is sent out once the server is setup and ready (not to be confused with the email that confirms the order). That email also contains any information important to know for initial configuration.

Indeed, please send us a help request about that and I can assign it over to John to see about having the email resent.
