Hi,

It sounds like you'll need to go with an un-managed VDS to host this game. What are the requirements to host "BYOND games"?

the requirements for hosting byond games are low, but I want my game to be hosted 24/7 without lag, which plan should I do? And how do I put my server on that plan? http://www.byond.com

I have heard of other customers running BYOND-related services, but I'm not familiar with its requirements. If you're not sure what to use, I recommend trying a lower-end configuration first, such as a 2-core.

With a VDS, it would be just like setting it up on your home computer, you are just accessing the computer remotely. I am not familiay with the game myself, but they should have directions for installing it.

VNC should only be used if standard access is not working. If your VDS is using Windows, you can connect with remote desktop. If your VDS is running Linux, you can use SSH to connect. The information for both is located on the "Server control" page in the control panel.

Is it a Windows or Linux server for starters?

If windows,

Computer = server IP
User Name = Administrator (normally)
Password = (in your NFO control panel)

Then click Connect.

You might be asked to accept things when connecting.
Can't recall. Mines been saved for months so I don't recall the process.

Make sure the remote computer is on and connected to the network, and remote access is enabled.

I guess one of the support staff would have to get your info and test it for themselves to confirm they can connect. There may be an issue.

You'll need to open a request for anything that requires us to look at your account and test your server.
