I'm looking for a place to host a UO server that runs off of RunUO, which is a windows program.
Has NFO hosted a UO server before? It looks like your dedicated machines have plenty of power, but the user "limit" bothers me, I anticipate at LEAST 500 players online at any given time, hopefully many more than that....
Does anyone here have experience hosting an Ultima Online se

We don't have any sort of software limits here. The number on the order page is just an estimate for ow many slots each configuration might be able to hold when common servers are run, such as TF2 or BF3 servers.
As long as your software doesn't require specialized hardware such as a 3D accelerator card, it will likely work well on a dedicated server or VDS here.

The software is fairly simple from what I understand. It's just a Windows based C# compiler, the server "code" consists of many many C# scripts that are edited or custom written to make the game run the way you want it to run.
UO is an old MMO, not an FPS, the system requirements should be minimal, however there are times when there are MANY people connected at once, upwards of 2500 players at the same time can occur, although I'd suspect 500-1500 is much more realistic.
The entire software package for the server will probably be about 10-15MB, but you must also install the client as well so that the server has the map file and other graphics, that's another 1.8GB or so.
