PHPbb won't stay logged in.

Hello!

I recently signed up for webspace and did the auto installer for PHPbb... everything is up and running, but it won't save anyone's login information when they select "keep me logged in." I have tried to figure out how to fix this, but still haven't been able to rectify the problem. Anyone have any suggestions?

When do they get logged out? Did you install it to a different domain than you are using it on?

I know what that is,there's just a setting u have to type in the acp control panel ,I had that problem to and it.fixed it.will post that setting for you in a few hours or so,as I'm currently at work at the moment .

This is what i did when i used PHpBB3 - This method worked and users were able to stay logged in.

Sign into you`re ACP control panel
Select the general tab ontop left
then scroll down to you`re left pane and click Cookie settings.

So for example my board URL is http://www.Nomercykillers.com
I would manually type this in.Delete what you have there already as default.

Cookie domain: .nomercykillers.com (Make sure there is a dot in front and dont put www infront)
Cookie name: nomercy (Called it anything)

Hit submit

You should be able to stay logged in after that.
