Question about Favorites List visibility

I've tried to search for an official answer to this question, but couldn't find one.
If we were to move one of our servers to another location (Chicago to Dallas), would our server still be on everyone's favorites list, or would they have to find it again in the server list and re-add it as a favorite?

We were under the assumption that if the IP changed, it would drop off of peoples favorites lists. We recently heard that this isn't true, and that it's only tied to server GUID, but wanted an official answer.

So, if we move the server to another geographic location, will the IP and GUID change, or just the IP, or none, and will any of this cause the server to drop off of people's favorites list?

The GUID will remain with your server unless it is forcibly reset by NFo staff (at your request)

Moving to a different NFo location will preserve your GUID.

The favorites list entry is tied to your GUID, so that's all that matters there. Moves will preserve it.
