Error on line 56 of Steam.sh trying to install SourceCMD

Post by PSLounge »

I am trying to install SourceCMD on my newly purchased VDS but I am getting an error when I try to execute steam.sh:
./steam.sh: line 56: /home/main/linux32/steam: No such file or directory
I checked and that directory does indeed exist, so I searched Google and found that this is a common error that is supposedly fixed by installing 32-bit libs, but I have already done that. I followed the fix on the Steam forum which says to enter the following to install 32-bit libs:
yum install glibc.i686 libstdc++.i686
But since I already have them installed it returns this:
Package glibc-2.12-1.80.el6_3.7.i686 already installed and latest version
Package libstdc++-4.4.6-4.el6.i686 already installed and latest version
Nothing to do
Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Nevermind, found another result on Google that said to run this instead:
STEAMEXE=steamcmd ./steam.sh
That worked.
