Hello everyone,
Just a quick question here. I was wondering if it would be possible to forward some emails from my domain email addresses to regular ones like hotmail/gmail accounts
ie) email@mydomain.com -> email@gmail.com
I need to do this for a few different emails that will be displayed on my site and this is an absolute necessity for me to have for my website.
I have browsed the settings on roundcube and the email/domain stuff in the control panel to no avail. I also opened a support request but was directed to create a post here.
(I also searched the forums looking for anything to do with this issue - google was also not helpful in this instance - obviously my google fu needs more training)

Re: Email Forwarding
Posts that are still at the top of the first page don't need to be bumped
.
We don't support forwarding, but you may be able to have Google log in and pull your messages, as a client would.

Re: Email Forwarding
Would it be possible to setup email forwarding somehow? It's extremely important. I'd be happy to pay extra for the service if needed.

Re: Email Forwarding
There may be 3rd party services that could do this for you (having you change the MX entries to redirect through them), but it's not something we can implement right away here.
Re: Email Forwarding
Would it be something you'd be willing to implement? I know that you probably have a ton of stuff on your daily to-do list but I really think that myself and other customers would greatly benefit from having this option in the control panel, or even just as a round cube plugin.Edge100x wrote:There may be 3rd party services that could do this for you (having you change the MX entries to redirect through them), but it's not something we can implement right away here.
I can't be the first person to have asked for this.
Thanks for your time and your awesome support thus far
Re: Email Forwarding
You can configure gmail to download mail using pop3 from your nfo mail account. I just did it as a test.
Here's how I did it.
1.) Choose the gear icon at the top right of the gmail default view, choose settings.
2.) Go to the "Accounts and Import" tab.
3.) Click "Add a POP3 mail account you own"
4.) Enter your NFO email
5.) The username is your email, for example mine is soja(at)soja.hosted.nfoservers.com
Password is self explanatory
POP Server is mail.nfoservers.com, port 110 is correct.
I was not able to get SSL to work, john, is this supported? If so, which port?
Enable labeling to help sort things if you want.
6.) Click finish!
It will take a few minutes for gmail to check your account for new mail, it took around a minute and a half for me.
Hope you found this helpful!
