Hi NFO,
I recently installed a fresh game of Zombie Panic Source on these VDS settings.
Single core: Capable for 1-3 game servers or intense website.
One full, dedicated HT CPU core (Nehalem or better)
1024 MB of RAM
100 GB of RAID-protected storage
1000 GB of InterNAP bandwidth transfer
I am using Windows Server 2008.
The only other program I am running along with srcds is Watchdog, and Srcdsfpsboost.
My srcds command line is set to this -
start /wait srcds.exe -game zps -console +map zpl_armory2 -maxplayers 24 -autoupdate +port 27015
Here is the link to my servers http://ezf.gameme.com/
EZFclan.com | Mixed Maps [Stats] is the VDS server in question.
EZFclan.com | Aquatica [Stats] is a server managed by NFO.
I can notice huge spikes in the FPS performance - please help.
Thank you.

Re: VPS Low FPS Performance
Are you seeing the FPS problems even in any empty server? What sort of FPS problems are we talking about (what numbers are you seeing)?
What rate settings are you using?
What CPU and memory usage are you seeing?

Re: VPS Low FPS Performance
That server is a srcds based server at 1000fps at 24 players. This is not a very wise config.
john you can view their fps and player graph here:

1000fps for a public server is not practical, I would recommend something like ~250fps for a public zombie server, you will not notice much of a hitbox/in-game accuracy issue and it will significantly lower your CPU usage. Also make sure your tickrate is around 66.
