I was wondering why you havn't expanded to hosting servers in a place like Australia? I know there are alot Australian people looking for good hosts and frankly every hoster I have found for Aussie servers are expensive. I don't know if you get this request a lot or not, though I love you support and services. I had asked one the people from the support team and they had said there won't be Aussie hosting atleast not in the near future. I just wanted to put this out there because I for one would love to see NFO hosting Australian servers.
Expanding is something that has always been on our radar but it is indeed a lot harder then it seems. It is also considerably more expensive then expanding to another location in the US.

Not to mention the shipping costs since NFO traditionally builds and colos all servers.
The reason hosting is so expensive there is probably because the cost of bandwidth and/or power is high, so if NFO did expand there the prices could be similar.
Hmmm, it would be nice, but at the same time it could become very pricey to ship out equipment there.
The real question would be, is there a big demand for NFo to start providing in Australia?

While shipping it there is definitely a pain the cost for bandwidth in places like Australia is a lot higher then it is here.
There has really never been a huge demand to expand to other countries but it is something that has been on our radar for a while and something we are planning to do but there are many things that need to be done first.

It would be great to have nfoservers as an australia host most the AU server providers are absolutely terrible I have tried about four of them now. The first one was costing too much in bandwidth for one server, The second one had terrible support it took 2 weeks to get the server back online. The third one wasnt bad but we couldnt run everything we wanted on it and the last one suspended our service for DDos attack. About 500Gb bandwidth is all we use and this server had 2TB for 82 a month but no ddos protection.
