Not sure if this is fixable, but I'm hosting on my vps using a program called DreamDaemon, and this is what I use to host games for the site I play.
The program needs to load to get the server up, but a lot of times it freezes before it can fully load, I have to redo it over and over until I finally get it up.
This program usually works on my computer and even my laptop with no problems, so I'm wondering if this is a compatibility issue or something?
I have Windows Server 2008 R2 as my OS.

I'm not familiar with that program myself. Does it have an option to print additional debug output to a log file that could be of use in troubleshooting this? Have you contacted the program author?

Don't think contacting the program author is an option.. The community is uhhh, interesting to say the least. I think there is a log file, I will look.

I've looked all over the root folder, and the folder for it in my documents, I can't find a log file of any sort anywhere.
Re: Hosting program freezing
If this is unsupported software that is crashing/freezing and can't be troubleshooted, I recommend migrating away from it toward an alternative that does have support and is known to work. Many customers here use FireDaemon, which seems to also be well-supported, and you might consider that as a viable option. One free option is NSSM, and it is known to work but likely does not have much support.
