SteamCMD on windows server 2008

Post by kvjn777 »

I am having trouble with the SteamCMD on windows server 2008. Has anyone gotten this to work yet?
When i run the Steamcmd for the first time it just pops up for maybe 2 secs and then disappears. Creates a folder called package and that's it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Your issue may be related to your network settings. Try this.

Go to the Control Panel > Internet Options > Connections > Lan settings and make sure "Automatically detect settings" is enabled.

I had a similar issue with SteamCMD and that was the fix.
