You have no IP specified in your server.properties. Replace that IP with your servers IP and restart your MC server.

I still get the same error, as I tried that too earlier. Does it have to do with my personal firewall on my computer?

I wouldn't expect it to but it never hurts to disable it.

What is your server IP?

Also what are the contents of your server.log file?

If you're running this on a personal machine, or on a VDS with only one server, then it's not necessary to have the server-ip line filled out. It'll bind to every address, but nothing's already using it, so no big deal. The best thing to look at is the start of your server.log file.

Out of curiousity, what's with the MOTD?
That wouldn't cause any issues?

Do you have a firewall (on your client or on the server)? If so, try disabling it temporarily.

Please do post those server.log lines.
