How would one go about seeing if your being attacked, and is there somewhere on a Windows server to monitor those connecting and attacking?
Reason I ask is that I can't do hardly anything on remote desktop. Seems nearly at a stand still as I try to navigate.
Seems there is a game developer group that has created a mod like dayz, and they have become a bunch of idiots and have been hacking the game servers and ddos the dedicated servers of many people.
Trying to see if I can pin point if this is the case and block them.

Did you try re-booting your box? Is the VNC panel just as un-responsive? Or is it just the RDP?
Re: How do you tell if your being attacked?
You can download a program such as wireshark and view incoming traffic and the packet contents.
However, it will still be fairly difficult to determine an attack. Give it a go and use pastebin to give us dumps.

Re: How do you tell if your being attacked?
Things seemed to calm down now.
Might have been an issue with the connection to Seattle.
Installed Wireshark and TCPView as from what one of our members said to do.
He works for the Arma gang as a server tech, but he's not always available.
Just have to figure out Wireshark and how to use it.
Something new to educate myself with. lol

It is very possible. I know Comcast and TWC/RoadRunner customers have been having issues in Seattle lately due to them overloading their links.

Re: How do you tell if your being attacked?
Lots of problems with Comcast and TWC/RR lately, unfortunately, aye. Some other ISPs and NSPs are also having problems, but those are the big two that are overloading most of their transit connections. Even problems during off-peak hours now, as well.
