Domain Issue

Post by LucasShadow »

So I am trying to setup a domain I purchased through Namecheap on my dedicated server. I have the nameservers and everything setup, and the domain added successfully. However, even after waiting several hours, the domain does not point to my website.

sinbfclan.com <- shows that I need to wait, which I have for a while now.
http://www.sinbfclan.com <- takes me directly to www.nfoservers.com
http://sin.site.nfoservers.com/ <- Where I want it to be sent to.

Any suggestions?

It could just be taking a long time for your DNS cache to refresh. Have you tried using one like Google's on your personal computer? These are 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. I also hear that OpenDNS's servers are quick, but I've not used them personally.

Clear cache/cookies
Also go to start>cmd> type: ipconfig /flushdns
