how to create a paypal button

so i am using phpbb for a forums on my server forums i want to create a paypal button in a thread for my forums its a page that is used as a motd for my server so i wanted to know if someone knew where to put the code for the button i have the code just dont know where to put it i want players to be able to donate right throughg the motd any help would be greatly appreciated

If you login to your Paypal and click on the "Merchant services" button at the top you should see another option which says "Create payments buttons for your website". Select that and you'll be given an option to customize a button which you can place in your MOTD.

yes i know that i have the code for it i just dont know where to put the code

If I remember correctly phpbb does not directly support placing HTML directly into post. You may be able to get crafty and create a custom bbcode entry to handle this,though.
