I'm going to be moving my Team Fortress 2, Website, and Teamspeak servers over to a NFO VDS but, i'm not sure which plan would best suit my needs. My TF2 server is using the Custom Items mod which allows us to create custom weapons for members. The only point that it really ever lagged was if someone made a weapon that shot like, 500 projectiles at a time while firing at the speed of light.
I'm not sure what plan I would need to run all three of these on the same VDS, or if it would be better to split up the Web hosting and Teamspeak servers.
Thanks.

Re: Not sure on which VDS plan best suits my needs
I was running a Mumble server, WAMP stack, Filezilla FTP server, and 4 CS 1.6 servers on my 2GB/2GHz plan using Windows Server 2008 R2 just fine aside from Windows being awful at being used for a web server. I was getting random slow load times (almost stalling) but everything else was rock solid steady. My advice is to use a linux distro or just have a separate shared hosting plan.
Re: Not sure on which VDS plan best suits my needs
Since we are selling VDS's our plans aren't limited to a set 2GHz's, you get fully dedicated HT cores and the speed of that core is dependant on the machine you're on.
A two core VDS should be enough to run what you'd like to run. However, I do not recommend running a webserver on your VDS along side with your game server as it is possible that it can introduce some performance problems or security concerns.

For a single tf2 server, a 2 core plan would do great. Ts3 isn't a resource hog so that should be fir on the same machine. You will be better off picking up the $3/m web hosting here along side your vds for the best performance

Thanks for all of your suggestions and tips, they are greatly appreciated! I've just purchased the 2 core plan with the 3 dollar web hosting.
Thanks again!

You're welcome!
Here are some good rate settings I run on my TF2/CS:S servers for the best performance. Forums like alliedmods and srcds.com have terrible information and suggestions about this.
sv_minrate 100000
sv_maxrate 0
sv_mincmdrate 33
sv_minupdaterate 33
sv_maxcmdrate 67
sv_maxupdaterate 67
net_splitpacket_maxrate 100000 (double if it is a 32 slot server)
sv_parallel_sendsnapshot 0
sv_parallel_packentities 1
Good Luck!

Hey soja,
Those settings worked excellent on my server. Thanks!
What settings are you using for global offensive?

About the same for CS:GO, I know there are some commands that CS:GO doesn't use anymore, but in general:
sv_minrate 100000
sv_maxrate 0
net_splitpacket_maxrate 128000 (csgo max)
sv_mincmdrate 85
sv_maxupdaterate 128
sv_maxcmdrate 128
net_maxcleartime .01
EDIT: This is 128 tick, change maxcmdrate and maxupdaterate to match your tickrate.
